OfficialTop is an unofficial companion tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by AIDA International.

What OfficialTop is

OfficialTop helps freedivers and officials browse AIDA competition schedules and start lists in one place. When you import or resync an event, our servers fetch publicly available pages from aidainternational.org and store a copy so you can read them here. There is no official AIDA API and we do not republish the full AIDA website.

How syncing works

Manual only — data is fetched when you click Import or Resync. We never poll AIDA in the background.
Server-side — requests to AIDA are made from our application servers, not from your browser directly.
Polite pacing — during a sync we wait about 800ms between AIDA requests when multiple competition days are fetched.
Upcoming and ongoing events — finished competitions cannot be newly imported.
Resync window — resync from AIDA closes 1day after an event's end date.
Data retention — full schedule and start list data for finished events is removed 7 days after the end date. A minimal archive (name and dates only) may remain so old links show a clear message instead of an error.

Limits to minimize load and abuse

These rules protect AIDA's servers and keep OfficialTop usable for everyone. They apply per visitor where noted and across the whole service where noted.

Up to 3 new imports per IP per 60 minutes.
Up to 5 resyncs per IP per 60 minutes (across all events).
At most one resync per event every 60 minutes.
At most 2 imports or resyncs running at the same time site-wide.
Up to 60 API requests per IP per 60 seconds on /api/* routes.
Import and resync requests must come from this website (Origin/Referer check).
Optional bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) on import when configured.
Duplicate imports of the same event are rejected.
Sync activity logs are kept for about 30 days for rate limiting, then deleted.

Your use

You agree to use OfficialTop for personal or legitimate competition-related purposes and not to automate, bypass, or attempt to circumvent these limits. Do not use OfficialTop to bulk-download AIDA data or place unreasonable load on AIDA or this service.

Accuracy and availability

Data is shown as imported from AIDA at the time of sync. We do not guarantee completeness, correctness, or timeliness. Always confirm official times and results on aidainternational.org before relying on them for competition decisions.
